Van de Raa acquired by Van Loon Group

BANNING advised Beheermaatschappij Arie van de Raa B.V. on the sale of 100% of the shares in the capital of Van de Raa Meat & More to the Van Loon Group, one of the biggest meat processing companies in the Netherlands.

Van de Raa Meat & More is a leading meat processing company specialized in the cooking process of meat. Van de Raa Meat & More has been established at the Bolderweg in Almere since 1991, where dedicated employees produce high quality products using a variety of cooking processes. The products are available in a wide range of types, flavours and weights. Both Van de Raa and  Van Loon Group feel very strongly about sustainability and their customer base consists of major retail customers  and food service companies.

The acquisition by Van Loon Group will give Van de Raa access to the supply chain and expertise of Van Loon Group, which will further professionalize the organization and production process in line with Van Loon Group’s vision, who wishes to further its growth in the coming years.

The transaction team consisted of Gaby Heere and Justine Sliwinski in cooperation with Andries Mak van Waay and Michael Advocaat of Mahler Corporate Finance. Purchaser has been assisted by Diederik Baas of CORP Advocaten.
