Webinar Terms and Conditions

Banning Opleidingen, a training institute recognized by the NOvA, invites you to the webinar General Terms and Conditions held by J.J. Dammingh. It will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 2:15 PM. Participation is free of charge. There are 2 training points associated with taking this course as part of the Permanent Training in the Legal Profession.

The following aspects regarding general terms and conditions are discussed (among others):

• The applicability of general terms and conditions (Articles 3:33, 3:35, 6:217 and 6:232 of the Dutch Civil Code)
• The voidability of general terms and conditions based on art. 6:233 sub a BW
• Providing general terms and conditions and voidability (Article 6:233 sub b of the Dutch Civil Code and Article 6:234 of the Dutch Civil Code)
• Provision by service providers
• 'Battle of forms' (Article 6:225 paragraph 3 of the Dutch Civil Code)
• Art. 6:235 BW
• Art. 6:238 paragraph 2 of the Dutch Civil Code (explanation)
• The black list and the gray list (Articles 6:236 and 237 of the Dutch Civil Code)
• The relationship of section 6.5.3 of the Dutch Civil Code compared to the European Directive on unfair terms

Immediately afterwards you will receive a questionnaire from us. You must return this within 10 minutes. If you answer all questions correctly, you will receive proof of participation from us.
