Seminar “Housing corporations in 2017”

Housing associations find themselves in a changing, complex environment. The implementation of the new Housing Act presents the organization with several challenges. This can lead to less attention for risk management and compliance, among other things, while their importance has only increased. This includes information security and the European Privacy Regulation (GDPR), which will come into effect on May 25, 2018.

It is necessary that you think in a timely manner about the necessary adjustments in the organization; privacy is and remains 'Chefsache'. We would like to give you a number of tools to get and stay 'in control'.

On Thursday, February 16, 2017 BANNING Legal & Tax and RSM a seminar aimed at housing associations. Under the inspiring leadership of chairman Johan Dunnewijk, Rien Hommes, Silvia Vinken and Jan Berkvens will briefly talk about these developments and will look ahead in a practical way in their presentation. In the seminar they highlight the safeguarding of privacy in your organization and the risks that you may not have considered before. Corporations are in a complex and rapidly changing environment. This makes a periodic evaluation of risk management and compliance necessary. Risk management and compliance form the core of the work processes. Safeguarding is essential. Both form preconditions for the corporation to realize its ambitions.

In addition to the members of the management bodies of the housing associations (management, board of directors, supervisory board), we would also like to invite lawyers, financial managers, controllers and board secretaries to participate. .
