Maarten Rijks graduated in November 2008 from Radboud University Nijmegen, where he specialized in intellectual property law as part of the broader subject of commercial and economic law. In his graduation thesis, Maarten focused on copyright law, describing the role of style elements in cases of infringement in this area of law. Maarten joined BANNING in April 2009 as a lawyer with the IP/IT practice group.
