Minos van Joolingen specializes in European and Dutch competition law. Following
his law studies he completed a postgraduate course in European competition law
at King’s College in London. Until 2007 Minos worked in the European and
Competition Law practice group of AKD Prinsen Van Wijmen in Brussels, which gave
him broad experience in advising and litigating on cartel agreements, the abuse
of dominant positions and notifications of mergers and acquisitions. He
represents companies in proceedings before the European Commission, the
Netherlands Competition Authority and the civil courts.
Minos also advises
international and national companies on aspects of competition law in exclusive
and selective distribution agreements, franchising, buying associations,
cooperative agreements and joint ventures. He has also acted as adviser to trade
associations and cooperatives.
