Rob Hendriks is an attorney at law and tax lawyer and a partner. He is Chairman of the Company Law Practice Group and practises primarily in the field of company law, mergers and demergers, acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, venture capital, divisions and other transaction and financing and refinancing issues. He is also involved in banking and securities law and tax law, with 20 years’ experience in these areas. He studied Dutch law and tax law and obtained his doctorate on 8 December 1994; his doctoral thesis was entitled ‘Foundations within the context of corporate groups; some private law and tax law considerations’. He remains active in the academic world, acting as a guest lecturer and editor, lecturing/giving post-graduate continuing university courses and publishing. He also attended the financing and security interest specialization training at Grotius Academie.
