Maarten van Dooren graduated from Leiden University in 1988 and since then has
worked in Eindhoven, the Netherlands Antilles (Curaçao), Amsterdam, and until
2004 with NautaDutilh in Rotterdam. Maarten specializes in mergers, acquisitions
and financing, acting on behalf of the arrangers of syndicated credit facilities
to Dutch borrowers or in cases involving Dutch security interests. He also
represents clients in many other cases, varying from national and international
mergers and acquisitions to civil-law and arbitration proceedings. Maarten
successfully completed the specialist postgraduate course in Financing and
Security at the Grotius Academy.
