Sieuwert Bruins Slot studied law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
He worked as a business lawyer in the Randstad conurbation from 2003 to 2008.
Since 2008 he has been conducting a business law practice at BANNING, with the emphasis on corporate and commercial litigation.
Sieuwert specializes in advising and litigating in national and international disputes relating to business law. These are disputes concerning mergers claims, cooperative ventures (such as franchise relations), the liability of directors and officers and all kinds of trade disputes.
He also drafts commercial contracts and general terms and conditions to prevent such disputes, at least to safeguard the legal position of his clients before a dispute occurs.
In 2010 Sieuwert completed the Grotius Academy's specialist course in National and International Contracting with distinction.
