Maarten Blommaert completed his law studies at Leiden University in 2005. His particular focus of study was the interdisciplinary subject of company, law and management. Maarten joined BANNING in December 2005 and works in the Insolvency Law en Restructuring practice group, where he deals mainly with liquidating the assets and settling the liabilities of insolvent companies, and debt rescheduling. Maarten also advises company directors on a range of matters, including directors’ and officers’ liability.
