Corporate Litigation

The importance of Corporate Litigation has increased significantly in recent years, prompted by such developments as accounting fraud, restoring the balance of power in companies and the Dutch Corporate Governance Code, or ‘Tabaksblat Code’. The Corporate Litigation practice group combines the specialist knowledge of lawyers working in both company law and procedural law.

Matters handled by the practice group’s lawyers include mismanagement, based on acquisition agreements )and the guarantees contained in such agreements), directors’ and supervisory directors’ liability, shareholders’ disputes, antitakeover measures, squeeze-out procedures, etc. Our lawyers have experience in various proceedings such as those before the Enterprise Division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Of course our specialists can communicate and litigate in English as in Dutch.
