As a result of its quickly growing practice BANNING regularly has vacancies for both beginning and experienced lawyers.

A BANNING lawyer is businesslike and professional. Our clients have every right to expect the most from BANNING. Internally our lawyers are supported by an organization that makes this possible. Our computerized office – every workstation has access to various electronic databases, an intranet and the Internet – offers the ability to work quickly and efficiently.

At BANNING we feel strongly about vocational growth. Associates are encouraged to take postgraduate training courses in their own specialization, such as the courses offered by Grotius Academie. Trainee lawyers can count on sound training and supervision at BANNING. During their three-year training period they are coached by various counsellors, so that they can become acquainted with different ways of working and different fields of law. In additional to vocational training, trainee lawyers can also take an internal training course at BANNING. This all goes to ensure good all-round training during their traineeship period.

BANNING endeavours to keep knowledge up-to-date throughout the firm. In that context a ‘case-law lunch’ is held every Thursday. In addition, each Practice Group holds case-law discussions on a weekly basis, during which the most recent case law in each field of law is discussed.
Working at BANNING also means working in a pleasant, informal and collegial environment. That good atmosphere is also maintained by relaxing together. Every Friday we end the working week with a drink at the Jan BANNING Bar. The Activities Committee organizes an annual office outing with all the lawyers and secretaries. And for the lawyers there is also an annual skiing weekend.
