Mark Goorts obtained a master’s degree with distinction (met tevredenheid) in Dutch law at the University of Nijmegen in 2010. Most of the subjects he took were in the fields of the law of obligations and corporate law. He wrote his thesis on the handing over of general conditions. Immediately after that, in 2011, Mark obtained a cum laude master’s degree in International and European law at the same university, focusing in particular on European competition law, which was also the subject of his thesis. That master’s degree course also included several European law subjects at the LUISS Guido Carli Universiteit in Rome during one semester.
Since 2011 Mark has worked in BANNING’s Corporate Law practice group, where he focuses in particular on the law of obligations and contract law.
