Neeltje van der Veeken completed her double-study Law & Management at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. During her study she spent a semester in Italy at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. After she completed her master degree in Strategy for Business Studies in 2009 she then went on to graduate with honours specialising in Commercial and Economic Law but more specific in Intellectual Property Rights. In het final thesis she researched proving brand awareness by way of market research. Neeltje joined BANNING in January 2011 as a lawyer within the practice group IP & IT Law.
