Suzan Wolters studied Dutch law at Radboud University in Nijmegen where she graduated in civil law and criminal law. As part of her graduation thesis for civil law she carried out a study into the prohibition of ancillary activities, a subject in which she has a particular interest. For her thesis in the area of criminal law, she examined the development of the tenet of legitimate self-defence. Suzan gained work experience as a student assistant with the university employment law subdepartment. She also worked in a legal advice centre, and during her traineeship, as registrar at the Court of Appeal in Arnhem.
Suzan has been with BANNING since 2010 as a member of the Employment Law practice group.
