Ernst Weel graduated in law in 2003 from Leiden University, where he specialized in Comparative Maritime Law. He completed traineeships with Van Traa Advocaten and Barents & Krans Advocaten. Ernst has been working as a lawyer in national and international maritime practice since 2004. At BANNING he has been a member of the Commerce & Logistics practice group since 2009 and deals with cases relating to transport, commercial and insurance law.
