After graduating from Leiden University (law), Paul van der Zanden obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from Edinburgh University. Paul specializes in disputes related to company law and related issues.
From 2005 to 2009 Paul worked in the Corporate Litigation practice group of the Amsterdam based law firm Stibbe. From 2000 to 2005 he was a member of the same firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. Within the latter practice group his main area of focus, besides transactions, concerned M&A related disputes.
Paul advises national and international clients on matters such as directors’ and officers’ liability, conflicts with and between shareholders and disputes regarding transaction documentation. He also assists clients in related civil and arbitration proceedings. In addition, Paul has wide experience in advising on general corporate matters as well as national and international transactions.
