Examples are the drafting and negotiation of often complex international multi-party agreements, such as licensing agreements, cooperative research and development agreements, joint development agreements, distribution agreements, etc. We have a multidisciplinary team of specialists in the fields of intellectual property law, competition law and international law of contract.

BANNING’s technology lawyers are furthermore experienced patent litigators. Such disputes are often of a cross-border nature. We therefore work together in close cooperation with specialist lawyers abroad and frequently play a coordinating part in that context. Our lawyers also have broad experience in litigating for various international bodies such as the European Patent Offi ce and the European Court of Justice.

We act swiftly in the event of infringement. Our specialists understand better than anyone else that in that case rapid and efficient action is required. We know the course to be taken like the back of our hand and work together closely with customs authorities to prevent infringing products from entering Europe, for instance by means of (customs) seizures.
