Roel graduated cum laude in Dutch law from the Radboud University in Nijmegen in 2008. His thesis dealt with securities law and the effectiveness of the Emergency Regulations under the Financial Supervision Act. After his studies Roel opted for the legal profession. He has worked for BANNING’s Research Department and in its Property and Project Development practice group since 2008, focusing in particular on the litigation practice and matters concerning property law in a broad sense. In that context Roel advises e.g. project developers, building companies and engineering contractors.
