Philip van der Ven studied law in Amsterdam and Business Administration in the
United States. He specializes in the area of building law, procurement law and
insurance law. His work in building law cases focuses on providing guidance in
implementation disputes and advising on forms of cooperation in the building
industry. If necessary he litigates before the Court of Arbitration for the
Building Industry in the Netherlands and before the ordinary court. Philip also
has extensive experience in solving procurement disputes, advising both the
contracting and tendering parties. In insurance matters, Philip advises and
litigates in disputes relating to Contractors’ All-Risks policies and credit
insurance policies.
