Daan Smits completed his Dutch Law studies (with criminal law as the main subject) at Tilburg University in 2004. In 2005 he graduated in Law and Business Management cum laude at the same university.
Daan has worked in the legal profession since 2006 in the general law of obligations and company-law practice. He has been employed at BANNING since 2008 in the commercial property, the general law of obligations and civil-law litigation areas, dealing with cases involving landlord and tenancy law, sale and purchase of immovable property, property development, contractor agreements and the general law of obligations.
