Egbert Schelhaas studied law in Leiden. He has been working at BANNING since
1993, having previously practised as a lawyer in the region of The Hague. Egbert
works in the area of civil law in relation to property, the general law of
obligations and litigation practice. Civil-law aspects of property mainly
involve landlord and tenant law (including the combination of rent and
franchise), the purchase and sale of immovable property, property development
and contracting of work (also in relation to technical systems and machines).
Egbert completed the specialist courses in Property and Landlord and Tenant Law
at the Grotius Academy.
