Gino van Roeyen graduated from Tilburg University, where he also worked for a number of years as a research assistant in the field of international private law and IP. Gino has been with BANNING since 1999, laying the foundation of the present IP practice group. Advice and litigation on national and international disputes in the area of IP form the basis of Gino’s work, which regularly extends to related issues in the field of company law and commercial contract law (licences, franchising, distribution and agency). Gino has an excellent knowledge of international private law, especially in the area of IP, which frequently involves issues to do with the international jurisdiction of courts, applicable law and cross-border measures. Gino works for numerous highly-regarded clients in such sectors as food and fashion.
